Audrey. 13. Imperfectionist.

I promise that if you review one of my stories, I will review one of yours; a review exchange. Deal? ;D

Gotten into poetry recently, so I write poetry when I'm happy, poetry when I'm sad. As a result, I may end up with a lot of poetry...

My Stories

How Society Influenced the Pre-Socratics:Essay dealing with Pre-Socratic philosophers and what it was that sparked their brilliant ideas. Title is pretty self-explanatory: this is my first philosophy essay written back in September.

Watching Clouds: Nine girls from nine different times and places muse over life, who they are and where they fit in. Easy little bit of poetry to read, my first shot at this sort of thing. Be nice and leave a review! :D

Damaged Happiness:A poem for a friend. Just something I felt like writing, so yeah your comments are appreciated.

A Happy Ending (1914-1918): Lady Adrian Oxley is frivolous, naive, and a hopeless romantic. So naturally, when the person she loves is called up to fight during World War 1, she becomes a nurse close to the front lines in the hopes of finding him. Only fate will tell if the two's paths will cross during wartime, or if they'll ever get their happy ending. Chapter 2 is up, story under construction! Chapter 3 will be up by 6/1/13.

Future Stories

Title To Be Decided (1911-1912): After the untimely death of her baby brother, heir to the title of Lord Harker, Lady Valerie Harker is supposed to find a husband and 'settle down', so to speak; there's nothing less appealing to a rebellious girl. With a new luxury ship ready to sail to America and a downstairs staff she can't seem to keep her mind off, Lady Valerie doesn't plan on sticking around Harker estate much longer. (Historical, Titanic.)

Title To Be Decided (1939-1945?): They say Caitlin Capulet was born to be Shakespeare's Juliet and she always agreed. Upon being cast the role, she is caught up in the world of theatre and meets her Romeo; with war, however, on the horizon, Caitlin comes to realise that neither Shakespeare nor fate ever intended for Romeo and Juliet to get a happy ending. (Historical, World War 2.)

Howling ghosts they reappear in
Mountains that are stacked with fear
But you're a king and I'm a lionheart
And in the sea that's painted black
Creatures lurk below the decks but
You're a king and I'm a lionheart
And as the world comes to an end
I'll be here to hold your hand
Cause you're my king and I'm your lionheart

-Of Monsters and Men, King and Lionheart

It's been years since we
carved our names on a
clock tower door before everything changed
We were big-eyed boys with
salt on our skin and we'd
throw our kites to the wind

It's been years since we
Whispered soft with a
Torch light on and the big light off
We were
tired boys with soap on our skin and we'd
fall asleep to the wind

And in years when the
Torch light thins and the
Clock tower's gone and
The big light dims
We'll no longer be boys
We'll have lines on our skin and they'll
Throw our dust to the wind

-Passenger, Circles
