"Because he knows you have to laugh at the things that hurt you just to keep yourself in balance, just to keep the world from running you plumb crazy. He knows there's a painful side... but he won't let the pain blot out the humor no more'n he'll let the humor blot out the pain." - One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

About Me

I am a Psychology major at Widener University. (Creative Writing Minor)

I am not a serious person in any way, shape, or form. I am the guy that, in your deepest pits of sorrow and angst, I will make you crack a smile and you will hate me for doing so.(:

I have a large amount of useless knowledge in my brain, things that I love throwing into my stories. I will put a lot of my (nonreligious) beliefs in my stories and all of my knowledge that I can fit in. I absolutely abhor spiders and insects but I also find them freaking fascinating. I have a huge knowledge of all things both creepy AND crawly! I love poisonous things like the Brazilian Wandering Spider the scariest spider in existence or the Goliath Bird Eating Spider which is the size of a dinner plate... and to quote on of my favorite books *ahem* "It doesn't eat only birds-it mostly eats rats and insects- but they still call it the "Bird-Eating-Spider" because the fact that it can eat a bird is the most important thing you need to know about it ... I don't know how they catch birds. I know [it] can't fly because if it could, it would have a different name entirely. We would call it "sir" because it would be the dominant species on the planet."

I am a huge nerd, I love comic books (specifically Batman and Daredevil) I prefer DC to Marvel however. And Stephanie Brown (The 3rd Batgirl) is my Favorite character, ever created. I love making random, crazy subtle references to the things I love in my books, if you could point some of them out I would be very impressed. Think of my books like a Where's Waldo of my favorite things. Along with plot.

My musical taste varies greatly, I love Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Avenged Sevenfold, and Taylor Swift to name a few, but really I like almost everything. I also play guitar. Electric and Acoustic.

Even though I am a dude, I prefer writing (and reading) female characters... I don't know why. I somehow find it easier.

I also get very bored of the same thing over and over again... So expect my Book Covers to change VERY frequently... Because what better way to put off actually writing then to constantly be making new book covers?

*Fun Facts!*
You do NOT eat 8 spiders in your life time.
You do NOT only use ten percent of your brain!
Gum does NOT take 7 years to be digested.

Favorite Quotations

"Avoid using the word ‘very’ because it’s lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do."

“We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.” -Jon Keating, Dead Poet's Society

"Plums deify!" -Stephen King

"Sometimes I wish I were a lesbian."
"You're supposed to stop the Q-Tip when there's resistance!"
"Guess what?" "The Fifth Dentist caved, and now they're all recommending Trident?" Chandler Bing, Friends

"When all you have is a hammer. All of your problems begin to look like nails."

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a talking squirrel."

"If people call you weird and make fun of you, that means you are doing something right" -Amy Lee

"That guy who used to steal my lunch money in middle school still takes it from me to this day... On the plus side he makes a great Subway sandwich"

"And as the sun, that had been too afraid to show its face in this city, started to turn the black into grey, I smiled. Not out of happiness. But because I knew... that one day, I wouldn't have to do this anymore. One day, I could stop fighting. Because one day... I would win. One day, there will be no pain, no loss, no crime. Because of me, because I fight. For you. One day, I will win." - Batman

"Who you choose to be around you lets you know who you are." - Han, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift

"In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out." - The Joker

"A guy asked me a question the other day, about why people run when things get tough. That's easy-- You can become someone else, whereever
you land, right? Who's gonna know the difference? So why stay? Why set yourself up for more failure? For more pain? Also easy-- Because we don't know how to do anything else. Why open yourself up to all the bad you've tried to leave behind? The only variable you can control is yourself. You can forget who you are, or you can be who want to be. That's why you stay. You stay for a second chance." "But if you stay, you're forced to face yourself, nobody is brave enough to face who they really are." "I am" -Batgirl (Stephanie Brown)

"Worldly fame is nothing but a breath of wind
which moves this way and that,
and changes name when it changes direction." -The Divine Comedy
