Hey folks, I'm Ebony. Welcome to hell, mwahahahah! Just kidding. I'm in my twenties, I'm English, I'm female (at least I was the last time I checked, unless there's something my parents aren't telling me) and I love to write. Seriously. Been writing since I was five or six. Not that very much of my early scribbling was any good; if I find it it certainly isn't going up on here. Well . . . maybe one. I write both poetry and fiction, and the odd critique or two, and favour the horror/supernatural/fantasy/historical romance kind of thing. Heavy on the first three preferably.

I do Beta-reading too, if you're interested. And you can find me on fanfiction.net as well under the same alias. I've only just come over here - truth be told I'm a little iffy about putting up my original stories and/or poetry, but I'd like to think I can trust most of you if not all - so i hope you'll all look after me.

Some of the stories and poems I may or may not upload are collab pieces, either written by myself and other(s) or thought up by several of us, so I'll try to give credit where it's due. And I'd really appreciate it if the criticism is constructive; a simple "this story sucks" won't do; I'll only say tough s*. Likewise, if you actually like my work tell me what you think; my dream is to be a published author with my name in lights and in newspapers so you'd really be doing me a favour if you do either.

I can't please everybody and I'm not going to kill myself trying to bend over backwards to every Tom, Dick and Harry; don't like it then hit the back button, it's as simple as that. If my work offends you, or my ramblings here do, please see the previous statement for clarification on my response.
