Hello all. Welcome to my very humble abode. I'm just starting off here, but I hope to have some works out soon. I'd been searching for a place I could feel comfortable posting material on for a while before I settled on FictionPress. I'm confident that there are some very talented writers here who could definitely help me hone my craft, and I hope I can do the same for them.

More personally, my name is Zach, and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently pursuing a BFA in creative writing, and my ultimate goal and dream is to graduate from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Aiming high, I know, but you can't know if you don't try. I prefer to write interstitial fantasy, for lack of a more appropriate term. What that basically entails is that I write fantasy that crosses genre borders in a way that makes it difficult to classify. Aimee Bender and Theodora Goss and good examples. I try to make my fantasies grounded in realism (as ironic as that sounds) with a nod to literary fiction. My tastes may change over time, but that is currently what I'm experimenting with.

I recently joined the RG. They're some swag people, so I'd get to know them if I were you. I'm know as Mellow there, by the way.
