Hello there everyone! My name is Shire (CollieandShire is actually the name of my sister and I on fanfiction, but on fictionpress it's just me) and I'm excited to be posting here! :D Thanks ahead of time to anyone who reads my random things I post-it means a lot to me! :D

About myself:

I am a girl, if you're wondering.

I love to write, read, sometimes draw, make new friends, teach, ride horses, take my Rooster for a walk, spend time with my family and friends and explore the great outdoors.

I am a part time horse trainer, and I love it. :D

I am a Christian, and I am homeschooled, and I LOVE it that way! :D

Pets: my nineteen hens and my rooster. (my favorite hens are Twinkie, Tribble and Henny Penny, and my adorable ten pound rooster is named Nicolai Dobzhansky the Rooster. He's Russian. :D)
I suppose I can also include all the horses I've ever trained as pets, though I don't own one. :)

About my Profile Pic: That's my favorite character from Hogan's Heroes, Corporal Peter Newkirk. If anyone has never heard of him or the show, look it up! Best show ever! Anyways the saying I have underneath the picture came from a hysterical scene with Newkirk pretending to be Hitler on the radio. You should watch it! You can watch the clip on Youtube, just type in Hogan's Heroes Newkirk as Hitler, Keep Smiling. You won't regret watching it, it's really funny!

What I like to write: BIG time historical fiction writer. Actually that's all I write, except for some random things on fanfiction that are classified as fantasy. I'm mostly into WWII, the Wild West, and the Cold War era.

Favorite movies: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Omega Code, An American Tail, Fivel Goes West, the first Land Before Time, Brave, Kung Fu Panda 2, Balto, and Fiddler on the Roof.

Favorite TV shows: Big Valley, White Collar, Hogans Heroes, Remington Steele, Shaun the Sheep, and The Dick Van Dike show.

Favorite books: hmm, all of Susan Marlow's books, the Dear Diary series, the entire series of The Diaries of Corrie Belle Hollister, Danger in Sagebrush Country, and probably some others I'm not remembering right now. :)
