Hello, person who felt like wandering to this little corner of the Internet. Hopefully, you've come here because you've read one of my stories and want to read more of them, or a friend recommended you, or something similar.

Who I Am...

Anyway, this is actually my second account on Fictionpress, mainly because the stories that I submit here I also intend to submit to my school's literary magazine. Anyone who looks up those stories on the Internet will be able to find them here as well, and those people will probably know my real name and identity. I really do prefer to keep my Internet life and real life separate, so the account that I publish everything else on is staying separate from this one.

Basically, you're not finding out about it.

To summarize myself, I am a high school student with a real life and real troubles, and I tend to enjoy writing very much but also realize that my grades and classwork take precedence over my hobby and obsession. I really, really like The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion, mainly because the first was my introduction to epic fantasy and the second was an in-depth exploration of the history of my favorite fantasy world. All of my fantasy works have a tendency to be somewhat Tolkien-esque, thanks to that.

My Role On This Site...

As for the literary magazine thing... I tend to have two versions of whatever story I'm writing for school publication. The one that I actually wrote, which tends to have controversial topics and non-explicit violence and sensitive themes... and the one that I submitted, which has been dumbed down considerably so that the rating will go from T to K (to put it in the rating system of this site, so that anyone who wanders along will understand). Personally, I prefer my own versions of stories, mainly because they contain the original version of events that I took straight out of my heart and mind for people to read. Unfortunately, sometimes my school and parents don't agree with me.

I would post both versions if I could as separate stories, but I'm sure that more than a few people on this site would find that annoying. So if you click the "Next Chapter" button on one of my tales and get what looks like the same stuff as the previous chapter, it's merely the revised version that I submitted to the magazine rather than the original content. I'll be putting notes at the beginning of such a chapter explaining things, but this is a general notification in case you were either too lazy to read or simply didn't think to.

Also, for the preview images of each story... they are not mine. I am not an artist and cannot create art to save my life.

What You Won't Find On This Account: M-rated stories. Yes, I tend to write about controversial things and sometimes hint at drugs, sex, and violence. However, nothing of what I write here is graphic. On this account you also won't find Mary Sues/Gary Stus (I've been on Fanfiction and Fictionpress for five years, I'm an old hand at not creating literary monsters) or bad spelling and grammar. I'm intending to publish these stories, so I've proof-read them several times before I put them up. Also, you probably aren't going to find anything very long. I deliberately set out not to write a novel when I create these stories for the school magazine.
