Chase Gill has lost her father to suicide. Her often drunk mother decides to send her to a therapist after she's found hurting herself. Wayne suggests Chase write down words of her feelings to help cope with her father's death. Chase has also met the "love" of her life, Paul, whose sudden violent behavior leaves Chase's friends, Clary and Ethan, just wanting their best friend safe.
