Author has written 30 stories for General, Thriller, Haiku, Life, General, Family, Young Adult, Love, Nature, Supernatural, and Horror. Me My name is Lynne, I'm eighteen years old, I live in Ohio. My main focus of writing is short stories and novels, though you will find the occasional poem. All of the poetry I've written is on this page. I'm not really planning on going places with it as I am my short story and novel writing. I'm leaning toward fantasy and horror mostly, though I have an idea for a fantastic lesbian dramady. Other than writing, I'm a huge fan of movies, especially those with Gerard Butler, Johnny Depp (many of which were seen years before Pirates of the Carribbean was released), Nicole Kidman, Brendan Fraser, Eliza Dushku, and that special place in my heart for Seth Green and Jason Biggs. Music is also a huge part of my life. Favorite bands/singers include Placebo, Dido, Halou, Theatre of Tragedy, Voltaire, David Bowie, Fleming and John, among others. I'm also a singer, mostly musical theatre, though. Your Story Reviews I write short reviews for poetry, usually. If I like something, I never know how to express it, so I usually write the first two or three words that pop into my head. Don't read anything into the lack of phrasing. I have a difficult time finding a lot of words for something I like. And, typically, I like poetry. I write longer reviews for fiction, critiquing as constructively as I can, trying to help the other writers on this site to write better, as I would hope they help me. When I review, I say exactly what's on my mind, about your concepts, characters, writing ability, and anything else that I feel needs mentioning. I'm not into candy-coating anything, and I don't make exceptions. All reviews are solely my opinions. It only matters how much my opinions mean to you. Reviewing My Stories When it comes to reviewing my poetry, I really don't care. I don't write it for reviews, I don't post it for reviews. I'm not a poet, it's just something done in fun, or serious need to release. Now, when it comes to reviewing my stories, I'm a bit more attentive. Please, give me your honest opinions. If you didn't like it, please tell me why. If you did like it, please, tell me why. Feel free to be as kind or harsh as you feel you need to be, as long as you're honest. And that you don't type in l33t or make every other letter capital as I won't be able to understand a single freaking word of it. Thank you.
