I haven't updated this profile for years... in fact, just the other day it claimed I was 16, when that has not been the case for the past two years! :P Oh well. I am a missionary kid, mixed background (Swiss/South African), lived most of my life in Asia... Christian (protestant), pacifist, environmentalist, think a lot, read 19th-century classics, love works by C.S. Lewis, as well as reading missionary biographies... I guess all that has influenced me a lot in my writing, though so far I've only ever discovered the recurring theme of not belonging (though I feel perfectly fine with not belonging anywhere. I love not belonging anywhere!) Anycase... I don't read much on fictionpress so I might not show up on your page and read your works... I haven't actually read anything here for almost two years, which makes me feel bad. I might follow my conscience and go read something again once my exams are over. Love your Enemies is my big baby - turning 3 in June! It's my most time-consuming story ever (others always took me less than a year), and although it's already on draft 2, I'm taking forever updating. Chapters 5 and 6 took 6 months to write (okay, that is counging the breaks in between but yah... you get the picture... I think chapter 3 took me a year). Please do comment as I love receiving comments on that one - I'm trying to make it as good as it can get, so even if you're going to say something negative, I'll appreciate it (though if it sucks, I would very much like to know why - so don't just say 'it sucks' and disappear).
