Projects The Ilikarr trio --Blood Pledge: Innocence embodies the lives of the simple folk of Ilikarr. The royal family has never had to settle so much as a land dispute for centuries, the rolling, lush lands finally forsaken by the human-lusting faeries, a race gone bad. The only magic left is wielded by the Healers, treating the wounded and sick, and the elves, their power limited over the years to mere beautification and the manufacture of lovely cloth, a power unable to match the war brewing beneath the kingdom's surface. A dying king; an impossible choice; and a girl who becomes a woman, a girl that just may have the key and the inhumanity to save them all. "" --Proxy: The faeries have finally struck. After months of quivering silence and mounting fear, an unforgivable act sends the nation of Ilikarr reeling from its impact. King Keiran is proving to be less and less like his shrewd father, unable to seek out a course of action that would counter this audacious move, when his sister, the sharp-tongued Ellyn, offers a plan crafted by the only faerie human in their history. It calls for the purposeful breeding of a faerie from a human, a daring ruse that Ellyn hopes will get them close enough to Queen Athalia to assassinate her before she leads her band to strike outright. And there is only one candidate left. --Untitled: After the death of her parents, Wildelily is thrown into palace life before she can realize it is not for her. Forsaking her brother and her aunt, she runs to the only place she can think of to hide: The Forests of Lyme. In a shadowed thicket, she meets a caravan of humans, elves, and nymphs that call themselves members of the 'Seraph Guild,' a ragtag group that are working to undermine the faeries. After saving her from starvation, they tell her the tales of the past, and the tales of the present, including an explanation of their own existence. The faeries have killed Athalia's replacement, rebelling once more against Heaven in a war the world has been waiting for. Darin, their resident soothsayer, recognizes the role Wildelily will play in the battle to come. Others --The Fast Lane: Josie, a socially inept junior, sees her life changing at a drastic speed after holding the shortest conversation of her life with a complete stranger. Shortly thereafter, she finds herself acquiring new friends, new skills, and new feelings about the boys in her life. "" --Always On My Mind: Gracie decides to break up with her best friend of sixteen years and her boyfriend of three after months of him pushing her away. The trouble is, she hasn't quite figured out how to live without him. "" --Thunder's Cry: Young Tera and her twin sister Neria were born with the 'kiss of the flower', destined to remain beautiful throughout their lives. This gift has come with a price. A heckled magician, bent on the suffering of humans, named Gio claims that Tera shall be his bride or a terrible curse will befall her. After her spirited refusal, Gio uses his sorcery to put her in the sky, chained on a cloud in the heavens until she agrees to his offer. But he gives her a last chance. There is a spiral staircase that winds all the way up to her prison and any man may take her away. If he can survive the stair. Tera must learn her own strength if she is ever to return to her family and the sister she loves. "" --Practical Carson and His Flying Dumpsters: A girl named Anna is struggling in an all-girls school that stresses poise and elegance until she meets an unexpected boy from her past who gives a little bit of her life back. --43 Kisses: Emerald Yates has a name no one will forget. One guy sure hasn't. "" (""--writing process has begun) Occasionally, I have a few things to say about things I find important or I just simply mind-vomit all over my webpage.
