Author has written 29 stories for Life, Young Adult, Love, War, Sci-Fi, Religion, Friendship, Mystery, and Nature. This is me. This is the format in which I desire to portray myself.
It's difficult to define my life, because so much could describe me. If
you want an actual taste of who I am, you can read my works (because
they basically reflect me as a person), or you can email me. I have
MSN and ICQ, so you can add me to your list if you'd like...just tell me who
you are and that you met me here...otherwise I might be quite disturbed.
The basics...I'm 19. I live in Ontario. I am studying French and Classical Languages at the University of Guelph, so that would explain any French references in my poetry...or even Latin ones...haven't done any of those yet, so no need to worry yourselves. Yes, I wouldn't mind becoming a writer, but it's more of a hobby than anything. I like music, poetry, literature, and love. They all mean something to me, especially the last one. I like all sorts of music, but never ask me to listen to country or pop. I would subsequently be forced to shoot you. Zeppelin, Beatles, Metallica, Meatloaf, Dashboard, Third Day, Joplin...I even like musicals. I am also a very large movie connoisseur (forgive me for the spelling error, if any). Raised in a family with a 300+ movie collection, I have started my own little collection...VERY much into Stanley Kubrick's work, and I'm a sucker for foreign films. Favourite movies include: A Clockwork Orange, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Matrix Trilogy, Amélie...there are more, but those are probably my absolute favourites. Here's the part where I write about...what else? My inspiration to write. My kudos to a man named John B. Lee who is a local poet (where I am from, he's local) who both inspire and motivate me to write. My other inspiration is my soulmate, and love of my life. He is the very blood that flows in my veins. Slight Update! (Of sorts...): Forgotten Day actually might be the first of a series of poems I have in my head right now. Of course, by a series, I actually mean like...three. But still. There's been a lot of weirdness going on lately...stuff that seems to be bringing back odd memories of the same type of situation that I went through a couple years ago, sanity barely intact. We'll see. The poem itself might stand alone, if I can't find the right words for another one. The Measures Taken is something I've been playing with inside my head for a while now...just haven't had much time to really throw it together and put it on paper...or, rather, online. It's actually written from the perspective of someone I work with...or rather, what I think is going on inside of his head...the second half (if you can really split it in half) is what's going on inside my head. It's not supposed to be smooth...it's supposed to be choppy, the way thoughts usually are. Read and review...I always like to hear criticism. ^_^ Stuff to Come: Well, I've been more inspired by nature since I've been home from school, so there might be a bit more nature-related stuff. I've also been slowly concocting a poem in my head (and slightly on paper) that describes a fight...hard to explain, really...but I suspect I'll have it up soon enough for people to see themselves. I've also had questions about my Russian mystery project thing...it's kinda on a hiatus at the moment while I come up with ideas...it probably won't be a very long story (maybe only a couple chapters), but it'll come together...slowly.
