I'm currently enthralled by this piece I'm working on called "The Rays of the Sun". And my sweet lord, it's take forEVER. I just can't seem to transfer it, successfully, from my head to paper! I'm trying OH-SO-HARD to make it work, and have something here before I start Uni in the Fall.

Summary: (way better than the short one)

It was my senior year at Leslie Academy, my home away from home. I'd made it so far virtually unscathed under the protection of an elite guard for the good guys, whoever they are. But the War was getting worse and collateral damage became more apparent, even to human eyes. I was still safe, and I didn't know why they, the bad guys, wanted me. I wasn't a witch, like the rival Houses were, and I didn't have any other reliable powers. I was just a girl with a gift of dreaming glimpses of the future, I was no weapon. I lived my life carrying a burden just like everyone else. And then, a stranger, a dark-haired mystery man from my dreams came to Leslie and my world was never the same. It was my senior year and everything changed. Everything. Oh, and I fell in love.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. IT CHANGES AND EVOLVES. I'm currently rewriting the whole story from Natalie Hallward's point of view. The basic ideas remain the same, but now the idea is more concrete. Look for more changes eventually, they're coming!
