My Twitter \ My Livejournal

When I write, I feel as though I have wings.

When I dance, I'm flying.

I'm twenty-three, though I'm often mistaken for much younger. I'm still in college (har har) and will be for the forseeable future. I'm okay with that. I love to love and I love to be loved. I'm a romantic with a wide practical streak. If I couldn't dance, I would write until my fingers bled, and if I couldn't write, my soul would wither. There's always a story in my head, there's always a document open on my computer. The works you find here aren't the true writing, though I love them dearly. The true writing is locked away where only a few have access, where I write and write and write until my spirit pours out and there's nothing left but me.

It would be the greatest tragedy in my life if I were to die without someone living by my side. My true love will love the Lord and the Princess Bride. Jesus is my Rock and my Salvation. I may not Preach like Paul, but I am Faithful Aaron, holding up the prophet's arms. I took an Abnormal Psychology class in order to better understand my characters, and I ended up better understanding myself. I took music classes in order to become a classical singer, and I ended up realizing I missed Psychology. My dearest dream is to work with the FBI, and my more practical idea is to be a researcher teaching at a university.

When the world ends, I'll be the one with the flame thrower. When I'm scared, I listen to Eisley and sing silly tunes. When I'm lonely, I delve into my character's heads. And when I'm sad, I walk at midnight and search for shooting stars. I love birds and cats and swords and cloaks. I'm addicted to the internet, but as been proven, I wouldn't miss it if it were gone. I knit on the bus and would wear punk fashion every day if I had a choice.

But the one thing you REALLY need to know about me is this: "I shall never grow up. Make Believe is much too fun." -from the song "Brightly Wound" by Eisley.

And really. That's me in a nutshell. One day, I'll find my Westley. I like pomegranates.

Quote of the Now: "TREADMILL!" -Anyone in our Fantastic Four group at Youmacon

11/8/09: Sorry for the lack of updates. I had a lot of crap to do for Youmacon and now NaNoWriMo. If I get ahead on my wordcount this week I'll try to finish up one of my chapters I have half written.

In other news, I'm planning a companion piece for To Feel the Sun, as I mentioned on Undiscovered and a couple other places. It's from the point of view of Danielle, but Gracie, Jonah, and a few others feature heavily. It's called So Real and I may start writing it in spite of having two active stories here. But when you get an idea, you want to write it down quickly, and I have many ideas for Danielle's story. Keep tuned!
