Author has written 11 stories for Haiku, Love, General, Fantasy, Life, and Nature.

I'm a twenty-year-old once-aspiring writer fallen head-over-heels for astrophysics. I still love the craft dearly and write when I can (discovering each time just how entangled English, math, and science are), but working with the night sky every day suits me better than just being an author.

Currently, I'm attending Mills College on a scholarship and many loans, but in the fall I'll be at Northern Arizona University completing a merged major in physics and astronomy and possibly a minor in mathematics. I work for the school as a Calculus I and II workshop teacher as well as a notetaker for a student in my Multivariable Calculus class, but I hope to find a more astronomy-oriented job when I transfer.

Though I'm busy with school throughout the week, I always make time to read. My favorite genres are fantasy and, to a lesser degree, science fiction. I devour books, but the literary forms most dear to my heart are the short story and poetry. Non-fiction reading is limited to the subjects of math, physics, astronomy, and various other science-related articles, but I read them often.

As appreciated as comments such as "I really like this!" are, I much prefer constructive criticism. What exactly did you like, or not like, and why? What language, images, situations stand out to you? What parts of the composition work, and which ones don't? I want to know how my writing affects you, since this is the only way I can see how much of what happened in my head made it onto my paper.

Even if you don't comment, thank you for taking the time to read my work. May God keep you all.
