Hello, bakacoconut here! I've just recently joined fictionpress, but I've been writing for a while now. Almost all of my stories up right now are from at least a year ago. heh... So, I bet anyone who's read my stuff is kinda wondering what perspective I write in. well, I can't decide if it's second, or like one and a half. XD So! The way I usually write, unless specified otherwise is that the person who's talking is the main character, and he/she is speaking to another person in the story in their head. Like how some people write a diary like a letter? Kinda like that. So the sentence "I looked at you." would mean the main character is looking at the secondary main character. When another character is introduced, it's like "She walked into the door." meaning someone other than the two main people is walking into a door. I swear it's not as confusing as it sounds! I just feel that in stories about romance (which is all I write) it adds a level of intimacy and a look into the character's mind. My characters tend to be either insane or very introspective... Or both... lol SO! Yeah, I also try to avoid specifying which gender the two main characters are, because some people prefer to interpret stories diffrent from others. If they think a certain pair of people fit into the personalities of the characters, then they can be those people to that reader. Personally, I usually write with two boys in mind, but it can totally work with a straight couple or a lesbian couple or whatever! I like to leave readers with a certain level of interpretation. By the way, I'm not sure if I spelled that right XD. I know my writing can be a bit abstract, but just try to sort through it and find the meaning behind it...if there is one. XD Many of them are kinda pointless. To me though, that's ok, not everything needs to have a point to be beautiful. Please read and review as much as possible so I can continue to have the confidence to post! Constructive critisism is very much welcome too, but please no flames, I'm easily intimidated! Thankyou!
