My penname here is Bluemauve, which I am sure has not escaped you. I am the ever-learning author of Seeds, the retelling of the cherished myth of Hades and Persephone. I hope to find my path in social work and counseling, as well as writing, once I do manage to perfect my skills to my satisfaction. I am currently seventeen years old--agonizingly close to the age of majority.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for my readers, but it is rather disheartening to find four--FOUR!--private messages all asking something along the lines of 'i like ur story, do u haev boobz or p3nn1z? lolololololol!!!11one!!exclamationpointone!!!1' overnight.

I currently reside on the West Coast of the United States, more specifically in the beautiful state of Oregon. This might change upon my graduation from mandatory education, but I have a year yet to decide on that.

I consider myself a friendly person, but very absentminded. If I have failed to reply to you in a prompt manner, please do not worry that I am ignoring you. I will wake up soon in the middle of night, in a cold sweat, with the horrific realization that I have not messaged someone in a timely manner. I do not claim this as an excuse, only an explanation.

On a happier note, I am incredibly proud of my thirteen-year-old cousin, who has also made a jump into the writing scheme. As for my work--I hope to make Seeds the first of many myths I retell, among others being Eros and Psyche and the twelve labors of Hercules/Heracles. I may also venture outside Greek myths, should I get brave enough.

Seeds is currently being updated twice a month; every other Thursday. This rather unambituous schedule is to allow room for other responsibilities as well as other stories. I currently have several other tales unrelated to mythology in the works. Keep an eye out.
