Alright, so... I'm Lindsay. I used to go by a pen name, but then I decided it was too much trouble to remember who knows me by which name.

I identify myself as a writer, though I also read voraciously. I'm a poet, though a very poor one, and, unfortunately, most of what I have posted here is poetry. I write some editorial-type stuff, as well as some research papers. E-mail me if you'd like to read the non-fiction, and I'll try to select the best of it. I prefer novels and short stories, though. I'm working on a novel right now, but I won't post that because that puts too much pressure on me; I've tried before, but I'm a horrible updater. I also don't post most of my short stories, because I'm in the process of submitting some stuff to be considered for publishing.

Everything I write is with the goal of giving God the glory, and I try to allow Him to have His way in everything I do. My writing is one of the most accurate ways for a person to see into my heart, and the Lord Jesus Christ dwells in my heart, so, hopefully, when you read my work, the Lord will reveal Himself to you, even if it's in the smallest of ways.

My favorite book is the Bible. It influences everything I write. Other than the Bible, I have a small list of favorite authors whom I adore and whose works I read whenever I get the chance. These are authors whose works you MUST read, just because I said so:

J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Francine Rivers, Stephenie Meyer, C.S. Lewis, Jodi Picoult, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Joshua Harris, Eric and Leslie Ludy, Elisabeth Elliot, Amy Carmichael, Karen Hancock, William Shakespeare, and Tamora Pierce.
