Author has written 15 stories for Life, School, General, Love, General, Humor, Biography, and Friendship. Hello to everyone out there. I'm crystal tiara, a seventeen-year-old Filipino-Chinese who will soon be entering college. I'm a big fan of anime and manga, and fascinated with Japanese pop culture in general. I also enjoy reading anything from books to online articles. Aside from that, I like video games such as FFVII and VIII, as well as the "Dynasty Warriors" series. Writing is my passion, and possibly my first love. I prefer writing one-shots, because they are easier to write and do not require much commitment. I do not have the patience and time to write multi-chaptered fics, but perhaps one day I will try to write one. Most of my works here may be angsty, but please don't think I'm a boring, insipid person who wallows in angst all the time. It's just that I tend to be more inspired to write when I'm depressed or in an angsty mood. In fact, most of my poems came to be when I was feeling down. I'll be expressing my feelings here, especially my insecurities, as every now and then I suffer from bouts of mild depression. At times, I suffer from writer's block, which is why lately, I have taken to reading self-help books on creative writing. I do hope that they will be helpful to me. As I have reiterated over and over again, constructive criticism is a big help to me, so I will definitely appreciate any reviews. And by the way, you might have noticed that my poems are often in lowercase. It's not that I don't know capitalization; rather, I prefer writing poetry in lowercase. | |||||||||
