Bio

Hi, the name is Dexterity. Call me Dex if you want; it's my nickname on RG. I write fanfiction under the penname of Seigetsu Ren, so you can call me Ren-chan if you like, haha! Nobody really calls me anything on dA, but my username there is Suien. It's the name of some character in one of my many unfinished stories sitting in my computer, and unfortunately, I think the story of Suien really sucks and probably will never finish it anyway.

In real-life I'm a boring biophysics student trying to cling onto at least a 68 average and no fails to continue my program. Yes, my major is biophysics and it is just as it sounds, bio + physics = biophysics. Since there are more letters to "physics" than "bio", that's the ratio of the type of courses I take too, more physics than bio. Actually, if I were to name my program, it'd be ch-biomathphysics, because we do more math than bio, and there is the nasty little bit of chem too. Oh, how much I absolutely hate chem! It is not that I don't like mixing carcinogenic crap around in my expensive erlenmeyer flask with frosted glass lip, it is just that molecular orbitals just AREN'T MY THING!!

Yes, because I'm in a damn program that requires an excessive amount of credits to graduate, I catch the REAL LIFE VIRUS rather often and dies in fictionpressland occasionally to be reborn after the elixir of "PASSING MY COURSE" revives me.

Oh, and I love reviews because they are my food. After all, I'm a member of the Writer wannabe species, so reviews are pretty much the only way we can live. With that said, I will obviously review you if you request me to do so in a review of any of my stories. Of course, I'll ignore you if your review was for RG or reviewers-found though, because you'll get a review back anyway.

Stolen Flight in on a hiatus because I think it sounds really naive. The first five chapters have been revised but I'm still looking for opinion on the sixth. I have plans to update Beyond the Horizon but I'm suffering a block for that one.

Current Stories

Beyond the Horizon (Romance - Angst): Originally written for a fiction challenge on MSN group TSGRPG, this is my first story on fictionpress since the commencement of my hiatus a few years ago. It will be quite short, possibly around ten chapters with each chapter about 1000 to 2000 words in length, and is a preview for the style of my future works. The story is about a young Empress who struggles to find a companion atop her windy peak of power. Stranded in a snowstorm, she realizes that lighting up the flame of love is not as difficult as it seems; what truly is difficult is how to keep the fragile fire burning.

Stolen Flight (Fantasy - Romance): Dash Haserath isn't just any ordinary highschool delinquent, he is one who skips school for being a hero! Join him as he combat local gangs, test the judgement of the Supreme Court, and...well, that's only a small part of the real story. With his meeting Sei Saionji, an Angel whose wing was torn off and used as his replacement arm, his extraordinary ordinary life takes a sharp turn.
