Author has written 133 stories for Fantasy, Love, Friendship, Life, Nature, Fantasy, Song, Family, Essay, and Haiku. I think this space is supposed to be for me to write about me in. I'll attempt to do so without ruining anyone's desire to read my poetry and stories. Well...I'm Ash. You can email me at ash.lee.shaw@gmail.com. ASL: 21 the end of this month; female; GA, USA. I'm in the Macon area, go to Macon State, and am a freshman English major. Feel free to add me to your Myspace - just let me know where you found me. I'm dark and mildly Gothic, as well as being sometimes masochistic and sadistic. I have been described at one half hopeless romantic, one half sadistic bitch, and somewhat sadly, it's quite true. I am completely open to any and all reviews of my work - if it sucks, I want to know so I'll be able to fix the problems and not repeat them in the future. If you review my work, I will return the favor (though it might take me awhile since I'm very busy with school, work, etc). I write mostly to ease my emotions; everything I write has meaning to me. If it doesn't, then it doesn't turn out as well. When I first started writing, I thought that I could write about any subject I wanted to or was supposed to. I can't. I have to be interested in the topic, connected to the subject in some way. I write to express myself, not to make other people happy. I've been writing for about 7 years now, on and off. I write poetry and I am currently working on a series of fantasy novels. The series is placed in an imaginary world named Ithiel and the first ideas for it were conceived about the same time I began writing poetry. It is proceeding slowly but I fully intend to finish the first book, Elf Blood,in the next year. I am open to any suggestions on a series title as well. Constraints with work and my career, as well as school, have 11/07/09: Hey everyone. It's been a while. I'm posting some new stuff up...finally. I hope everyone enjoys them. The latest one will probably have a couple chapters and updates eventually. Elf Blood has been put on hold until I get into the swing of being in college and living on my own. 10/31/06: So, it is Halloween, and I'm sitting here fixing this up. I just wrote and posted two poems...Possibly based off of needless dissappointment, anger, pain, but all the same, here they are. Read, review, tell me what you think. July 18th, 2007: So...LOL.
