Author has written 133 stories for Religion, Spiritual, Essay, Life, Family, Friendship, War, Biography, General, School, Haiku, Fantasy, Love, Song, Nature, General, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy. Sn: Getuie There's not more I have to say about myself. I am a Follower of the Way, servant to the King of kings... though mostly stubborn, rebellious, disobedient, and foolish. Any ability in writing I possess comes from my Creator who thought it would build into me what He saw as part of my life plan. It took me a while to listen to His urging to write, since I'm stubborn... and it was nothing a good kick to the rear couldn't fix. I wouldn't consider myself all that creative in that I don't easily stumble upon ideas to write about as such, however writing has become an interesting past time for the past few years that I've found can be quite fulfilling. I'm generally quite slow in posting things both due to laziness and to the time it takes me to finish anything I write. Most of the poetry here were either written to release strong emotions or to pen down interesting thoughts or occurrences. Below are my favourite authors who've captured my attention with their approach to writing: content with rhyme: One thing that astounded me was her use of rich language. Though sometimes high above my understanding, her poems have loads of insight and wisdom which is very much worth reading. Culurrien: I don't know all that much about this writer, but her work is absolutely amazing. She's managed to capture the heart of God and set it on paper. Edraith: Definitely one of my most favourite authors and one of the most talented I've ever seen. To me, her use of imagery is unparalleled... Her work, a cup of water for the weary traveller, describes the walk of one who knows the dark well... and the depths of God's grace intimately. H.T. Heaven: I know precious little about this writer except that I find myself pulled into their pieces of writing whether I want to or not. Really exquisite use of imagery throughout. Keep it 100: (Better known as Heart of the Sword)A writer of profound wisdom that is found in almost every single piece. She can take the simplest object to write about and shape it with such precision that the reader will always find some amazing new revelation about it. I'm truly saddened to hear of this writer's departure from the site HoldinOn2Him: Her poems are open, honest and straight from the heart. The way I love them. InSpiteOf: Though much of her work is angsty, she cuts straight to the heart with poems that almost anyone can relate to. Also very emotion focussed. JC-Saved-Me: I've stumbled upon her work by "chance" (not that we really believe in chance, but anyway) and I'm glad I did. Her work is excellent and touching. She shares her thoughts in a simplistic, but deep way which makes it both easy to understand (always loving that) and completely relateable. Some beautiful pieces - definitely worth looking at. Jesus-freak: An awesome person with a remarkable way with words... now if we could only get her to update more ;-) Her poems speak of someone who has had quite a few knocks, but who still stands strong and firm and that is commendable. KimHua: A fellow brother in Christ with an amazingly descriptive writing talent. I've been fortunate to have him step in as a writing partner and it has enriched my experience of writing tremendously as well as teaching me the value of planning (which I'm still far too lazy to do :-P). It's been a pleasure to see some of the ideas which he is planning to write and can't wait for him to start penning them down and posting them here. I will definitely be one of his avid FP stalkers as soon as he does. Matthew James Current: His work is nothing short of amazing. Thought-provoking lines combined with striking imagery leaves you dumbstruck. Definitely worth looking at. meowzart: A writer that dares to ask the questions many would've left unspoken. It's as if she seeks a deeper meaning to life and, if she was unsuccessful in her initial search, she'll just pose a deeper question and delve right in from there. Obsidian Katana: There's an element of sharp clarity and honesty behind what this writer composes. Her analogies are vivid and reflects precisely the image she wants from them. Her work is insightful without trying to be as she tackles topics many can relate to. RandomGoth: Angsty at times, dark almost always (hence Goth). Her poems are a great read. 'Fallen Angel' is exquisite. On a writing hiatus at the moment. Songbreeze Swifteye: She writes open, honest and clear poetry with tremendous outpouring of the heart. Talented doesn't begin to describe this writer. True Illusion: What touches me most about this writer is her honesty in her work and she writes emotions... To me her work is fresh and always carries promise. She hasn't updated in some time and has indicated that she might not do so again. Vismorgana: She doesn't use many words to colour the pictures she paints, but those she does use are often very apt and incredibly insightful. Without forcing anything directly upon you, her work leaves one with much to consider afterwards. Wasted Postage: (Previously known as AbunaiChikara) This writer has an amazing talent of taking that which is seen every day and shaping it into something extraordinary.
