Wow. I just recently rediscovered this. I've been writing mainly fanfiction over at the other site for a couple of years now, but one of my friends has talked me into putting some of my other stuff here. Places I can be found: A short summary of the ones that will be up here: Salvation: Necromancy is a forbidden art, but one that is still practiced. When Christabel Swann dies from an illness sweeping through her small farming village, she is one of many to wake up days later. Suddenly thrown from her peaceful existence, she is pushed into the depths of a world never before seen. Christabel is forced to reconsider her definitions of good and evil as she begins to exist in the shades of grey. In a world where nothing is as it seems, Christabel is faced with friends and enemies, and she has no idea how to tell one from the other. Lady Masquerade: In a world struggling to recover from WWIII, the City has fallen into a delicate peace. Few remember what the City once was, and everyone remembers the way it came to the present. When the rich sectioned themselves off five years ago, and the Dreamers began fighting to keep all Outsiders and Insiders from integrating, a vigilante rose. Lady Masquerade follows in the footsteps of Nova and Nightshade, the two who forged the Outside into the recovering nations it is now composed of. As the Lady seeks to reunite the Outside with the Inside, she is faced with Dreamer West, the enigmatic and ruthless man of the cursed 13. On the other side, in the light of the day, the peaceful Elizabeth of the Sixteens meets Alexei of the Inside. As Outsider and Insider meet, the day and the night begin to collide. When the secrets and the blood begin to spill, nothing will be the same. The Ouroboros: Sophia Foster is an odd child in the Missouri Ozarks. At seventeen, her life begins to spiral out of her icy control as she crosses paths with newcomer Phoenix McKennitt. Her dreams begin to change, and Sophia finds herself thrown into a cruel cycle that predates the Roman Empire. As she and Phoenix struggle to find out just what has thrown their lives into chaos, and what has thrown them together and put them on a crash course with something dark, Sophia learns that not everything is easy to understand. With her closest friend, the spirited Cassandra Allaway, thrown into the mix, the stakes are raised. All she can hope to do is stop the cycle before someone is lost. All she can hope to do is keep her icy demeanor in place as Phoenix is determined to melt it. The question is: is Sophia's budding relationship with the enigma that is Phoenix the catalyst for disaster? | |||||||
