About Me:

The first thing most people will note is my physical size, because I am only 5'3" tall and 100 pounds at heaviest. That IS me in the profile picture, a couple years ago.

I hope I can offer more to my writing than I can physically. I am the girl who gets knocked down a lot because nobody notices me. I am shy in social situations, but quite chatty to those who know me well. I constantly move my feet when I'm sitting. I believe I have restless leg syndrome and I move with the energy of an entire volleyball team on good days. My expendable energy can work as both an advantage and disadvantage depending on the situation.

Controversy makes life interesting. I never ask personal questions, but I love writing about personal things. Some of the stories I post here will likely have controversial themes homosexuals, gender identity, age differences, religions, etc so please be respectful. To be honest, your personal opinion about these topics will probably not improve my stories in any way. If you want to have a peaceful conversation about those things, though, I'm all for it.

I write here to get feedback about my writing so I can improve it. I may remove my writing off if I find evidence of plagiarism or if I'm not getting helpful critiques. I really appreciate people who take their time to tell me about inconsistencies, fluency, spelling, or grammar errors. Speaking of, as I am Canadian I spell like a crazy person. "Colour" has a U and so does "favourite". Also, it just makes my day and sometimes even my week when people write me to tell me about how they liked something in my story. So please take the time to do that and I will reward you with more writing.

Projects:

1. Real Love: Tristan and Lyla are soulmates. In fact, Tristan's hippie autoharp-playing parents have said so on many occasions. Of course, if they were really soulmates then Tristan wouldn't like boys. Lyla is determined to let the world know that the definition of "Real Love" is up for debate, even if this means stepping on her own toes a bit on the way. Meanwhile Tristan is set on testing the theory of instinct by finding every boy he ever thought was beautiful and figuring out whether or not they're gay. Lyla worries that Tristan's quest for Prince Charming might end up with the damsel in distress left behind. Romance/Humor/Friendship, Rating: T (for some language and controversial themes)

2. Another Life for Violet Wright: Through rebirth, Violet Wright has been reunited with her love many different times and ways -more than she can count. But when she finds him this time, she's not sure if he's really who she thinks he is. This time, she can't decide. Romance/Spirituality/Supernatural/Drama, Rating: T (for implied sex and controversial themes)

3. Blood Moon: She changed him to make him her own. Her child. Her love. Her newborn. But she had never suspected that this change would not only transform his body, but his soul as well. To make him stronger, stronger than she could imagine...stronger than her. This is another world, one where the blood-drinkers have destroyed humanity to the point where there is not enough blood to go around. Kidnapped humans are kept as slaves, and the half blood-drinkers are looking for opportunity to rise against their captors. Romance/Horror/Drama, Rating: T (for implied sex, violence, some language, incest)

4. Ribbons: Raven Jaden's harsh, non-existant childhood has left her cold. To others, she seems heartless, incapable of compassion. After fighting as a child soldier, and watching her parents die, she finds Gabriel at the Cirque. His parents were the traitors who got away, just before her parents were killed. She IS capable of old resentment. With her older sister acting as a poor influence for a mother, Raven learns bad habits that soon become a way of life. And with the mystery of her parents hanging unsolved, Raven struggles to discover what happened that she was too young to remember..or die trying. Drama/Tragedy/Romance/Fantasy/Adventure. Rating: T (for violence, implied sex, and other mature themes)

5. Poetry Collection: the world as I see it, written in a series of poems. Poems written about fictional characters, about my life, or just daily emotions and ramblings. Each chapter is a separate poem, and it is better to read them than simply explain them. Don't like one? that's okay, try another. Each is different, and there may just be one there for you.

Final Note:

I am a student, not a professional author. Please don't expect me to update on command. I will try my hardest, but I make no promises. Updates will be sporadic at best, but well edited and worth the wait. Hopefully you take the fact that I have a real life into account when you consider the timing of my updates.
