Ok, well, if you're acutally reading this, I AM working on my stories, it's just really slow going; I have ideas hitting my brain left and right... Ooh, there's another one! Well, I hope to update YAT and I'm hoping to start a new story called Not Afriad about a girl who disguises herself as a boy in order to join the Musketeers. Yeah, it's kinda inspired by Mulan, but I haven't done a story about that, so I'm gonna try my hand at it. So, anyway, that's the update as of July 14, 2008.

Hey, for those of you keeping up, I have an idea! It's a contest that me and my little sis came up with one night!

Tired of regular lovey-dovey happy-happy joy-joy stories where everybody’s friends with everybody and every day they link arms and go frolicking through the field of daisies with the sun literally smiling above them?

Me too!

It’s time for tragedy stories to have their say!
Please join the contest to see who can write the best tragedy. Of course, no cash prize is awarded, but the top three stories will get small prizes (listed below)… not to mention you get to gain bragging rights amongst your friends.
Stories must be in by January 15th, 2009, and results will be posted no later than March 12th, 2009, depending on how many people participate. Thanks for reading; I can’t wait to read your stories!

1st prize:
1st place medal, a color drawing/line art of a scene, and a color drawing of a character
2nd prize:
2nd place medal, a color drawing/line art of a character
3rd prize:
3rd place medal, a line drawing of a character

Also, there will be medals for special mentions. Those titles being: Real Tear Jerker, Left Speechless, I Went Emo Because of You, Something Special, Next Shakespeare!, and Reincarnation of E. A. Poe.

Winners will be posted on my profile, along with links to their stories.

Guidelines:
10-25 pages; Times New Roman; 12 pt. font (No double spacing!)
Nothing above a PG-13 level
No “F” bombs
No vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc.
NO FANFICTIONS! (These are supposed to be original works of fiction; I don’t want to read about characters from movies, books, TV, anime, etc.)
No excessive blood/gore
Must be sent with a name (can be real or pen name)
No excessive spelling errors, use spell check or Google’s spell check

Violators in any of these categories will be disqualified, come on, people, and let’s have some fun!
