ME

My name is Jennifer, but you can call me Jenni-Wren, since that’s what all my friends have taken to calling me. I'm seventeen years old and I love anything to do with writing, reading, television and music. I have a lot of pretty weird obsessions - most of them revolve around Gilmore Girls, the Sarah Dessen books and lollipops. Oh, yes I'm weird! I've got long – and very curly – chestnut, blue-ish colour-changing eyes and a lot of freckles. But what can you do?

MUSIC

As I said up there, I love music. Not everyone likes my taste, but here's some of the stuff I listen to (if you like it too, tell me!): Fall Out Boy, The Rocket Summer, Jack's Mannequin, Hey Monday, Paramore, Evanescence, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Tegan and Sara, Jimmy Eat World, Simple Plan, Automatic Loveletter, Yellowcard, Secondhand Serenade, Death Cab For Cutie, Blink 182, Bowling For Soup, The Scene Aesthetic, Muse, Boys Like Girls, Cute Is What We Aim For, Maroon 5... There's a lot more, but I'm probably starting to bore you, so just ask if you wanna know.

TELEVISION

Television is another big part of my life, like it says above. I would only list my favourite shows, but I wouldn’t know where to start with that, so you can have the long list. Aren’t you lucky? So, here we go: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Charmed, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, Brothers and Sisters, Pushing Daises, One Tree Hill and The OC.

MY STORIES

Generally, I work on short stories only, but lately I've started expanding some of them. The two that I decided to expand and try turn into novels are Make Me Smile and Lyrics to My Heart.

Make Me Smile

Alyssa escapes from her abusive father... and her best friend’s older brother, Daniel, helps her to keep on running. They learn a lot about each other while on the road and for a moment it looks like their blossoming friendship could turn into even more. But when you’ve been deprived of love your whole life it’s hard to realise that for once you might get exactly what – and who – you want.

Lyrics to My Heart

As far as Annabelle Turner is concerned, friendship is nothing but a complete waste of time and energy. And she’s felt this way for a long time, ever since the first day of school when she told the rest of her class that Santa Clause didn’t exist and was promptly ignored. She’s been invisible ever since. But then she meets Tristan DuGrey and not only does he know her name, he seems to like her. That was the day that her whole belief system comes crashing down around her.

Other than that, I'm thinking of new ideas all the time - unfortunately, I don't always write them down and then they get lost. But I think it'll be at least a year before I finish a novel - hopefully sooner, but I'm working on a lot at the moment.
