Author has written 41 stories for Life, Love, Friendship, Humor, School, and Romance. My name is Jessa Beth, I am eighteen years old, and I am a fine arts major. I love to draw, paint, knit, and write, of course. I write a lot about love, because love's just such a beautiful thing. I write mostly poetry, but I do some short stories occasionally, too. All in all, though, I love to write. I love to write the way I love to breathe, for it is more of a necessity than a passion-- though it is indisputably that, as well. Art, too, holds the same importance to me. And so does my boyfriend David. :) I love him like life. My favorite artists include Michelangelo, DaVinci, Veronese, Caravaggio, Titian, Rembrandt, Vermeer, El Greco, Parmagiannino, Delacroix, Sargent, Van Gogh, Monet, Barcsay, etc. I basically love the classics. Ahhhh, loooove!! My favorite writers include Michael Crichton, Edgar Allen Poe, Anne Rice, Dan Brown, Charlotte (and Emily) Bronte, Jack London, J. K. Rowling, Dr. Seuss, etc. Yay!! My favorite poem is Annabel Lee by Edgar Allen Poe. I also like Edna St. Vincent Millay's I Shall Forget You Presently, My Dear, Poe's The Raven, Robert Frost's Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening and Mending Wall, Emily Dickinson's "I'm Nobody! Who are you?" and "Tell all the Truth but tell it slant--", Theodore Roethke's I Knew a Woman, May Swenson's The Shape of Death, Delmore Schwartz's I Am a Book I Neither Wrote nor Read, etc. Oh, and I'm strangely bothered by Gertrude Stein for one reason or another. Maybe it's because she wrote Ida, and I absolutely hated that book. I am a lot of things. I am agreeable, and I am also often naive and steadfastly optimistic (at least I try to be). I am a pathetically hopeless romantic, despite never actually having love for myself, and... yes, I admit it: I'M A HARRY POTTER DORK!! YAY!!
