Author has written 11 stories for General, War, Sci-Fi, Humor, Supernatural, Nature, General, and Life. About Me Hi, I'm Laura, I'm 16 years old and I live in England. I love Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce books, Wheel of Time, pretty much anything fantasy or sci-fi. My favourite TV shows are Doctor Who, Charmed, Bones and 24, and my fave music is indie rock. I like writing sci-fi, fantasy and supernatural stuff. Enjoy! You'll find that, although I write more fiction than poetry, there is likely to be quite a lot of poems, as they are easier to finish than stories. From previous experience, I find it hard to finish stories, and I don't want to post them unless there is a decent amount of writing already done. Check out my fanfic at http://www.fanfiction.net/~laurasedai My Fiction Poetry: A poem on my general thoughts about 9/11. Another poem about 9/11, based on what some children might ask about it. This is a poem about a soldier, most likely German, who served during the Holocaust. Oblivious Poem centred around the word 'oblivious'. Poem about a whale that's lost all its family to hunters. Fiction: Innocent What happens to those children who get Turned into vampires, or werewolves, or merpeople? A sci-fi story about a group of people who take oaths to explore the universe. Kayla has been captured because she is an OV. Five girls out camping. One dare. What could possibly go wrong? One Trick Too Many In the summer of 1950, a maths class attempt to play a trick on their teacher, with unexpected results! True story, very funny in its essence. Non-Fiction: Holidays in France Humourous account of my family's holidays in France. Anything could happen! And it usually does! Lost crabs, screaming toddlers and ferry delays are all included! | |||||||||
