Because I'm a sucker for both silliness and seriousness and general uncouthness. Favourite Fanfiction: Tie between "Through the Looking Glass" on adultfanfiction.net (Harry Potter) and "Place Your Bets" on fanfiction.net (Twilight). I'm a sucker for vanillabeans' Jasper. He's just so adorable and semi-retarded. Endearing. Favourite "Real" Book: What is a "real" book, anyway? For all intents and purposes, though, it's "Sleepers" by Lorenzo Carcaterra, "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" by Tucker Max, and "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Caroll. Favourite Manga: I've gotten into "The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross" by Arina Tanemura lately. It's just so cute and sweet but dark and plot-twisty. And it incorporates just about everything you could want in a manga: romance, humour, action (the main chara, Haine, is a former yanki), betrayal, deception, het, shoujo-ai AND shounen-ai, gorgeous art work, twisted love triangles (and squares... and hexagons rofl), the whole bit. All time favourites would have to be "Nana" and "Paradise Kiss" by Ai Yazawa and "Godchild"/"The Cain Saga" by Kaori Yuki. Favourite Band: It will always be a close tie between Blink-182 and Red Hot Chili Peppers. But lately I've been listening to Garbage, Placebo, The Ting Tings, Shiny Toy Guns, and 3OH!3.
