WE ARE BUT BOUNCING HEDGEHOGS ON THE GREAT WATERBED OF LIFE.

Hello and welcome!

please check out....

New Moves & Frederick the Extraordinary

I am fifteen years old (and appropriately mature and immature by turns
so I apologize in advance), a sophomore in high school, and I write.
And mostly I love it.

I enjoy reading, baking, my cat, mondegreens, radio stations that regularly play Huey Lewis and the News, my friends, my family, English class, history, being in plays (currently A Midsummer Night's Dream, I'm Helena!), chocolate and flowers, and spending time with the people I love.

A few quotations....

He who cannot draw on three thousand years is living from hand to mouth. -Goethe.

I learned a long time ago, Reuven, that a blink of an eye in itself is nothing. But the eye that blinks, that is something. A span of life is nothing. But the man who lives that span, he is something. He can fill that tiny span with meaning, so its quality is immesurable though its quantity may be insignificant. -Mr. Malter, from The Chosen by Chaim Potok ( LURVE The Chosen)

Challenge yourself! -an important guy named Brad.

It hurts so bad, I'd kick a puppy to make it stop. -Uncle Lou

Words must be weighed and not counted. -a fortune cookie

Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love. -Charlie Brown

Mm, peanut butter. -me

First this world, then the next, then the fireworks... -Grandpa Hank

...whatever that means. -Uncle Jay

You love this band, so give us moneh... lots of moneh!!! please? thank you? give us moneh... we really need it! we really do! we have no moneh! how bout you? -"Gimmehmoneh" by the Threatening Jesters ( LURVE my friend Will's band)

O! I am alive to-day! What a lovely surprise!

5. Red Asphalt Blues
Written out of boredom in Driver’s Ed. Imagine some old person reclining on his or her porch on a sweaty summer day with a banjo in hand and you’ll just about have the rhythm. It's rather repetetive, but I'm terribly fond of it.
