Well, so far I have only posted one short story here, but I have a couple more short stories I might post soon. Writing has been my hobby for a couple of years now, something I spend hours and hours doing. Working out plots and characters and creating new worlds. It's so exciting! Most of my writing is fanfiction, and I have several stories posted on fanfiction.net, under the same penname as here. But, there's something even more exciting about creating original fiction. To be completely free to write whatever you want to.

I have two big projects going on. A paranormal romance book, possibly the first in a series, and a vampire book, the first in a trilogy. I'm quite fond of vampires, their seductive nature, the darkness and mystery about them. And I love creating these worlds with supernatural beings. To decide upon the science of the creatures. What makes my vampires unique? Are they dead, alive, beings of magic or science? There are so many roads to take, and that is what makes it exciting and entertaining.

The story I have posted, Of Darkness and Pain deals with vampires. The other completed story I'm likely to post, after revising, deals with the darkness of a human's mind, of losing humaity and sanity.

My biggest dream is to once get a book published. I know the chance is small, but, there's nothing wrong with trying. I'm only 21, I have loads of time to work on my writing and perfect it. In the meanwhile I'm studying. At the moment I'm in the middle of a teaching degree, in which I've taken classes such as English Grammar and both British and American Literature. But, I've changed my mind, and hopefully I'll be able to start a Bachelor in Library and Information Studies next autumn. Being a librarian just seems so tempting. To be able to spend every day around books, to keep updated on new literature, to help people find books to read and enjoy. Or, it would be great to start my own book store. I've played with that idea with a friend of mine. Create a place where lovers of literature can get together and talk and read and spend time.

But for now I'm studying, working in a grocery store and writing whenever I have the time. Writing. It's what I love, it's what I'll do.
