Author has written 17 stories for Song, General, Horror, Supernatural, and Action. Greetings to all and welcome to my humble little writing profile! My name's Randi, and I'm a 23 year old living outside a little podunk nowhere town in northern New York. That's NY State, not the City. I've been seriously into writing since I was around 13 or so. For as far back as I can remember, I've loved reading about fantastical beings and creatures and things that may or may not go BUMP in the night. My mother read "The Hobbit" to me as an ongoing bedtime story before I even hit kindergarten, and there was always a plethora of Stephen King books about our house while I was growing up. You can see what contributed to me turning out this way, right? XD! Most of the things I write can be classified as supernatural fiction. It's easier to label it that way rather than trying to spring into the horror genre and having people say that the things I write aren't really scary enough to be "horror" per se. Regardless, my works of fiction contain: vampires, werewolves, fae, ghosts, curses, deities reborn into human vessels, awesome music, steamy situations, knock-down drag-out action scenes, and occasionally pie. Mmm... pie. Did I mention macabre humor? I'm kinda twisted like that. But Ran-chan... Why do you write? As some of you who are already familiar with my work may have noticed, I've purged nearly 40 pieces from this account. Many of them were old poetry or pieces which, quite frankly, I will never work on again. And even though many of my wonderful reviews are now gone, I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who's ever taken the time to leave me feedback, whether it was positive or not. Without people to read what we've written... authors are nothing. I've got one large project I've been working on for many years now that has been shoved onto the backburner for far too long due to my own cowardice and lack of dedication... That would be my In Circumspect saga. As you can see, it's been quite a while since I've posted a chapter for the sequel. I ran myself into a plot corner and haven't been able to get out of it. So now, with some more experience under my belt, I'm doing a 1st person POV rewrite of the whole Kacea & Jynxx story. I may combine the two parts into one. At current, I'm only partially through the second chapter, but I plan on posting it and eventually removing both originals. I'm much happier with the way it's turning out this time around. And with newness comes the need for a new moniker, and the new name for the In Circumspect saga will be Sanguine Lunacy. Be on the lookout for it! I plan on making myself do one chapter a month, and making it the best I possibly can. I do have a full-time job which is a 45 minute commute (one way) which consumes a lot of my time. However, I think that updating once a month is more than doable if I can buckle down and stop sucking at life. @_@;; I'm also a beta reader, but I have crappy dial-up internet, so it may take me some time to get back to you, but I will do my best to respond to anyone who asks me for help. ~Updates~ 5.14.2009 Drink is the curse of the land.
