The Current Works:

A God's Toy:
Thomas Eric Rivers is a teenager with a past that comes to him in random violent bursts of memories. As he tries to ignore them and get on with his life, he encounters a nice man who gives him the warmth he feels that has been missing. Just when Thomas wonders if he could possibly stay with the warm man and exist without pain, a traumatic experience with the man's over-sexed wife ruins the teenager's fragile mind.
His keeper, the forest god Demrys, eventually suppresses his memories in hopes that Thomas will resume living a peaceful life. It fails miserably, however, when Dermys' world erupts into chaos. During the chaotic war, Thomas has a chance meeting with an eccentric bat demon named Ae. That chance meeting will be Thomas' downfall and the point where his life begins to fall into ruin and horror...

Atticus:
A band in the making. In Jacksonville, Alabama, three teenagers exist solely for music. Their band, Atticus, is only known throughout the town. When the lead singer gets the idea into his head to include another member of the group, he had no clue what door he had just opened. When a new transfer student enters Jacksonville, his skin color splits the school into two halves as well as the entire community.
Atticus, Sadie, and Melbourne choose to make friends with the Jamaician transfer, Corrs, despite the teenager obviously not wanting their friendship. Racism, abuse, discrimination, and distrust runs rampant in Jacksonville as the band tries to fly on its fledgling wings. Will they ever truly soar?

My Own Private Dreamland:
A series of short stories, Dreamland simply reveals the perverted inner workings of Mai Lynn and one of the main characters from the story Atticus. Melbourne Patterson suffers the fate of being sexually abused by a young woman's gay fantasies, whether it's an abusive boyfriend, a cocky bully, or even a tempermental ghost. The main purpose of Dreamland is to keep Mai Lynn writing in order to continue writing for A God's Toy and Atticus.
