Author has written 9 stories for Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mythology, Supernatural, and Romance.

Me:

Er…kay. The descendant of pirates, thieving mercenaries, people who hire mercenaries, and a pope (not necessarily in that order), Nonlinear leads an exceptionally boring life. Go figure. She has a better backstory than most fictional heroes, and she can only sit at her computer and write about the lucky bastards. For the record, she finds this extremely unfair. Not that she wants to be Pope, mind you, but...hey. Pirate?

I know how to write well. It's my job, as in I get paid to know my stuff, and there has been the odd fiction award in my past. That said, I wanna experiment sometimes. So I take on crazy bad ideas like slash and Mary Sue pieces and try to do something redeeming with them. Fear for me.

I'm an artist. Sometimes I'm good. Unfortunately my life often conspires against me when it comes to art making. Speaking of which, Avant-garde and Dream Realms, I owe you, seriously. It's in-progress.

My Illustrations:

Easy Street for Variable estrella

Fire for Miki Sweety (read the story!: link)

The Discovery for Sercus Kaynine

Tom Seaton for Vinny2

Projects:

Execution Date — A novella romance about a death row inmate's wife and her scumbag ex-boyfriend hoping to turn her pain into the story of his career.

Jewelweed— A fantasy courtly intrigue/bloodbath novel. An escaped slave becomes a king, a prince a pet fool. They are unlikely friends and unwitting enemies.

Slash Story — A piece that mocks and criticizes its own genre…a lot. A boy's big sister writes bad slash. He is in the closet. He falls in love. Awkwardness ensues.

The Noble Steed — A fantasy romance/parody, complete with a noble Mary Sue, a too-handsome scalawag, and the poor maid forced to tag keep the Sue chaste or suffer the father's razor-sharp wrath.

If I start any other stories before finishing one...shoot me.

Yours,

C.E.
