Music: Folk, rock, alternative, New Age, "Danger Music", country, pop, and SOME rap.
Musician/Artist/Band: At the moment, Ani DiFranco. I'll add more later.
Books: Speak, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Ellen Foster.
T.V. Shows: Buffy, Teen Titans, Batman: TAS, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Scrubs, The Office, My Name Is Earl, 30 Rock, Heroes, Sarah Silverman Program.
Movies: Batman Begins, Pleasantville, Plan 9 From Outer Space (XD), Speak, Mean Girls (Tina Fay FTW!), The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King, anything Pixar, Star Wars (all are enjoyable, but the original trilogy pwns), various Star Trek films.

Randomness:
I am a Feminist and a vegetarian (sadly, I eat fish for health reasons).
I LOVE philosophy. Western, Eastern, Classical, etc.
My favorite Element is Water.
I love comics with all my heart.
I have a love for science. To me, it is important to keep your mind open to all possibilities in science:
How can we possibly be the only beings in the universe?
How can we be so sure there was never an Atlantis?
Who's to say there can't be a human-like primate such as Bigfoot?
Who's to say we can't fly?
If the Lochness Monster doesn't exist, then what is that creature in the lake that people have seen for centuries and are still reporting?
What about dragons?
We don't know everything there is to know yet. Never rule anything out completely.

My poetry is not very traditional. I prefer free verse poems. Little structure, less rhyming. My prose tends to follow a "stream of consciousness" style. If you don't know what that is, look it up or read "Speak".
