5/10/09- SO... you may be wondering where In a Handbasket is. Because it's obviously not here. :P Anyway, I have taken it down FOR THE TIME BEING to finish it and edit it and polish it up real nice at my own pace, in private, without the internet watching me. Why? Because some day I may want to try for getting it published. I know, scary, right?

But I want to thank everyone, EVERYONE, who has ever read it, commented on it, critiqued it, favorited it, awarded it in some way, anythinged it! I am a more confident and certainly a better writer because of you guys. If BJ Winters, for instance, had never smacked me upside the head and told me that less is always more, I'd still be cranking out long, ridiculous paragraphs that went nowhere.

If you ever want to read what I'm working on, or see a snippet of a chapter, PM me and we'll talk. But for now, I'm taking the safe way out and taking it offline. And that was not an easy decision to make.

But Jenny! You can't leave! I like your writing/you owe me a review, you bint!

Don't worry, I'm not leaving. :P I'll still post short stories and stuff on here and definitely still review people! If you want some quality reading, check out MechKnight: The Lady's Guardian by Morohtar. Or if you're looking for something a little more like In a Handbasket, the works of Chit Chat Cat or Tawny Owl.

But for now, I'm off! And again, a thousand, million thanks for all of your support.

Hello, my name is Jenny. I'm a woman of very few words.

That's all I got.

Nah, never mind, I'll say a bit more. I'm a sophomore in college, majoring in English and minoring in Spanish. Someday I hope to teach. I could live off of strawberry banana smoothies and ramen. I'm double-jointed in my thumbs. I answer phones and clean pianos for a living at the current time. I play the piano, sing, and am a huge music dork in general. I'm not exceedingly girly, but I love clothes and shopping for clothes. This is essentially everything you need to know about me. :P

As far as commenting on/critiquing my stories, go for it! Like I said, I'm an English major. Critique is not something I'm scared of. The only story I'm working on right now is In a Handbasket: My Misadventures in Hell, and it's constantly being updated, edited, etc. The idea for it came to me in July of 2007 while I was grocery shopping! It is still very much a work-in-progress; "finished" chapters are edited constantly. Anything in this story could be changed at any time. Keep this in mind while you read.

In a Handbasket won runner-up at the Time is Running Out awards (http://tiro.so-pink.org/) for Best Main Character Characterization in the first round of voting! Thank you SO much to everyone who voted and congratulations to all of the winners!

1/23/09- Cleaned up the profile a bit. Made it sparkle. Heh.

2/6/09- Placed a link at the top of profile for the SKoW awards. Thank you so much to whoever it was that nominated me! _ Chapters 13 and 14 are close to being ready to post. 13 is a very short sort of interlude. 800 words. Romantically-charged banter between Jack and Alex. :P In the end, it may be put somewhere else or deleted entirely, but I felt like I needed some sort of scene like it. Chapter 14 is a big 'un with all sorts of horrible reunions and copious amounts of drinking. Hooray!

Adios!
