It's been a long time, but I'm here again! My name is Robert (not my real one but a screen name that I use in order to protect my remaining sanity!) I'm an avid writer and reader and have often been spotted reading books while walking. WAAAAAAY back when I was one fanfiction.net, but after being deleated without reason or warning seven or eight times I decided that it was time to go elsewhere. My fics, lists, parody songs and various other bits are now on my writing community which I set up for that very purpose. I'm now twenty-five years old, I have graduated from university and I'm working as a Youth and Children's Worker in Liverpool, which is a great job, a lot of fun, but sometimes too stressful for words! I still use my livejournal account from time to time, though I'm using it less and less these days, and I have pretty much given up completely on facebook, which I only ever got in the first place because everyone in uni told me that I had to! I tend to write in the fantasy genre when I am doing stories, though I have written in plenty of others as well whenever the mood takes me. I do tend to shy away from writing pure romance though due to the fact that I don't actually believe in it! I have a number of stories on the go at the moment including one that was originally going to be for the NaNoWriMo, but fell by the wayside when I realised that I just don't have the necessary motivation this year. (bummer) I doubt I will actually put it up online though due to the fact that fiction tends to get a lot less interest than poetry. My poetry ranges from the deep and meaningful thoughts and feelings of a counselling graduate to the inanity of a four year old! Some can be quite... dark though, which is why I include the below warning! Warning- some of the poetry and stories on this account are quite dark and may upset and/or offend people. I have tried to rate the darker ones as high as I can, but I know anyone can still click on them. If you click on a story or poem that does upset or offend you, please remember that I have warned you, and we are all entitled to our own opinions and freedom of speech Some of the songs that I post here are credited to Data or No Disc Found. This is a (currently) fictional band that I created a number of years ago and then wrote a number of songs for them. One day I do intend to put music to some of them and maybe record them, but that's just for my own entertainment... apart from those few that I will put on YouTube! When I say that a song is someone's 'Theme' this is usually referring to someone from a story that I have written and a song that I have come up with that I feel represents them best. The reason that I am now back (with a vengeance?) is because I have realised that there are a lot of poems and songs that are on my laptop and I haven’t put them anywhere, but they should be seen. There are even some that I have been able to sing, and some in public! There’s one that’s been recorded (in my room) and is online.
