Author has written 2 stories for Fantasy, and General.

I'm 23, female, and a fully qualified historian/archaeologist.

I love to read, and probably read too much, but never mind. My favourite genre is fantasy, but I will read anything as long as it captures my imagination. However, I don't like historical fiction if it is inaccurate or anachronistic. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.

My favourite books are: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, The Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake, The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly, The Secrets of Jin-Shei by Alma Alexander, and The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. This list is added to frequently, but I can read these over and over again without the stories losing impact. The Lord of the Rings is the book that made me want to be a writer. It also made me fall in love with Aragorn when I was about eleven and I'm a little afraid that no non-fictional male will ever be able to compete.

I love to write, but I'm dyslexic, and so sometimes the actual process of writing can be a little difficult. Please have patience, and know that I appreciate all constructive criticism.

I also enjoy playing squash, climbing (even though I'm scared of heights), going on archaeological excavations, playing computer games and generally having a social life. I'm a Christian and it is the most important part of my life.

My Stories.

Dragon Descendants is the story of Annabel and Michael, two normal teenagers who unexpectedly find themselves in another world and find that they are expected to save be returning the long-dead dragons. They have no idea how this is meant to be done, or what it will mean to the world they find themselves in, but they have to do it if they ever want to go home. They are joined by Sandar, a mage, and Ivy, a princess, who are both ancestral enemies. Prepare for adventure, drama and possibly even romance!

I've never really written anything in the first person so it is a bit of an experiment for me. I've also found that writing from a male perspective much easier than a female one. This has surprised me quite a lot!

Thanks for reading!

."Where am I?" I asked, but I knew. I was in the place I feared, the place of shadows and loss and loneliness and barren, fruitless dreams.
