Hey everyone.

My name is Rachel Ditmer, or SiL, for short. I'm a 16 year old sophomore at Jackson High School, majoring in the Fine Arts and Drama departments. I'm not much on sports ( you know the guy that always drops the ball or scores for the other team? Yeah. That'd be me. ) but I'm a full-fledged, year round band geek, and darned proud of it, too! _ I spend most of my free time drawing, writing, and trying in vain to master a Brooklyneeze accent. XD I plan on one day work as an animator/voice actress for Disney Animation or Disney/Pixar studios, and to have my novel, " The Star of Lanos", published and/or made into an animated feature ( preferably cel-animated. ) But first I gotta finish writing it! XD That story actually takes up the vast majority of my time...I jokingly claim myself to be 'the mother of 12'--12 being the number of characters, main and minor, currently in the novel. I doubt I'll ever publish it here, however...partially because it's going to take a LONG time to complete, and partially because I intend it for bigger things. ( For those who may have read my site back several years ago, the so-called " Star of Lanos' fic I started then has no relations whatsoever to the current version, and has been long-since discontinued ). On fictionpress.com you'll find various poems and short stories that I write both for school 'and just for the Hell of it. I have been writing seriously for a little over three years, and in that time I have come to learn that it is not only an art, but respectively, it is a form of magic. To create people, places and inventions all from paper and the tip of a pen is sheer beauty, and I feel enormously blessed to have such a gift. However, there's always room for improvement--reviews are welcome, I'm open to suggestions/constructive critisism--anything you wanna say, with the exception of flaming, which will be utterly ignored. But yeah. Anyway, feel free to look around...I hope you enjoy my works as much as I enjoy creating them.

Hobbies: Marching band, Symphonic band (flutist ) drawing, writing, voice acting (attempting to become an ultimate master of accents like the great Rob Paulsen XD ) Planning a million different things of awesomeness( stories, plots, drawings, obsessions ( usually pertaining to cartoons, or more specifically, DisneyXD ) with my best friend, Samantha ( Or Cybs, as I call her. )

Fave Books: It's impossible to pick just one book or series. But if I absolutely HAD to, it would be the Inkheart series ( Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath, respectively ) by Corneila Funke.

Fave Shows: Once again, too hard to pick. I'm a sucker for the old 'retro' cartoons of the 1990s though, back when cel-animation was still popular and things were actually GOOD. However, my top list would be: " Darkwing Duck", " TaleSpin", " Sam and Max: Freelance Police", " iCarly", " Drake and Josh", " Pokemon" ( the old series, back before CN screwed it all to Hell ) " Futurama", " Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers", " Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go", " W.I.T.C.H", " Skunk Fu", " Danny Phantom", " Chalkzone"," Animaniacs" " Spongebob Squarepants" ( also before it became gay )...like I said, most any funny, well written cartoon I'll go for. And it doesn't hurt if it LOOKS halfway decent.

Fave Video Games: " NiGHTS: Into Dreams (1996), " NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams ( 2007 ) ( which I haven't yet had the pleasure of playing and will most likely CRY if I don't get to soon...NiGHTS is definitely an obsession with me. ) And if you don't know what I"m talking about, SHAME ON YOU, ESPECIALLY if you claim to be a Sonic fan. XD ( Note to self: GET A WII )
