March 2010: BIG NEWS!! QUEEN OF GLASS IS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED BY BLOOMSBURY! It's too early to have an official date, but we've been told to expect the book out in late 2011/early 2012!! Thank you SO much for all of your continued support! You guys are amazing, and I wouldn't be here today without your enthusiasm and encouragement!
October 2009: My agent has sent Queen of Glass on submissions to editors! For updates about QoG's progress and my writing, check out, or on Twitter! Also, make sure to stop by , a blog created by former FictionPress authors, who have made the transition to professional publication!
January-April 2009: Update! After querying several agents in December, I landed myself an agent in January for Queen of Glass! My agent and I then spent some time revising the manuscript, and my agent now feels the novel is ready to go on submissions to editors! Again, thank you to everyone who has offered support and encouragement--it means so much to me!
December 11th, 2008: I know it was sudden, and I know I didn’t give any warning, but, for the sake of publication, I had to take QUEEN OF GLASS off FictionPress. I’m so sorry to those of you in the midst of reading it—I promise that you’ll someday get to finish the story when it’s in print.
I don’t think there are proper words to express what I felt today while reading through all 6,686 reviews. I saved each and every one of them, and I’ll cherish them as long as I live. I have no idea what to say to you other than Thank You.
Your encouragement, and your enthusiasm, and your unwavering support kept me writing. The reviews and the letters I received gave flight to my dreams. You gave me the courage to believe Celaena Sardothien’s story is one worth telling. There is no way for me to convey to you how deeply, profoundly grateful and honored I am to have been a part of the FictionPress community.
So, again, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for coming with me on this journey. I will never, ever forget what you have done for me. I love you all.
Most humbly yours,
Sarah J. Maas

April 2nd, 2007: After five years, it gives me great sorrow and pleasure to announce that Queen of Glass is complete. Or, at least, this first draft is complete. I know I say it in my author's note (please read AFTER you finish the story), but I'd just like to thank everyone who has stuck with this story for so long. It means more to me than you can ever imagine. I hope that these last chapters live up to your expectations, and I wish you all the best of luck and happiness. Thank you--thank you forever and ever--for being a part of this story. I love you all.
March 2007: In response to the many questions, YES, there is a sequel. It has been planned in detail, but I haven't yet begun writing it. The sequel will chronicle the oncoming world war that has been mentioned throughout the story, as well as answer many of the questions that will remain at the end of Part Three. As of right now, the sequel is titled The Fortress of Beauty, but I'm not sure if and when I'll begin writing and/or positing it on fictionpress. Thanks everyone for your unwavering support and enthusiasm--without you all, this story would never have gotten so far.
January 2007: I began rewriting the entire story--and this draft is drastically different from the original. I will not be posting the edited version of QoG on Fictionpress.
November 2002: A yahoo! discussion group is available for my novels. Feel free to join.
If you copy or steal any of my stories without my permission, I'll sue you so fast that it'll make your head spin.
