Author has written 13 stories for General, Fantasy, Romance, and Sci-Fi. I'm a 17-year-old high school student. I am female. I write and draw, but usually I get inspiration for one in the middle of the other, so it's an ongoing vicious cycle. Despite telling myself that I would keep my writing (and art) strictly hobbies a few years ago, I do want to try to get published one day. So yeeeeeeah. o.o There's lots of character art on my deviantART page. 1/20-- BCB IS FINALLY OVER WITH AND GONEEEEE Entropy is in the editing process...! Once I get it touched up to my satisfaction, I'll post it all at once. I'm not doing this updating bull any more; it's just bothering me for some reason. :') SA is failing but I'm not giving up on it yetttttt Ga is v appealing right now but I will resist until said other obligations are out of the way. 12/18-- Now posting BCB only on Thursdays, DH on Saturdays. Derp. 12/2-- Whoo, another NaNo under the ol' belt. Didn't get to my goal of 200k, but there is much to update. Blood Case Bandit, the vampire challenge story, is to be posted tomorrow, again, updating on Thursdays and Saturdays, and is around 50k. I still have to write the ending olol but I think I'm safe for now. I rewrote Entropy and it's still confusing (and short) as hell, at around 30k unedited. But I promised I'd post it eventually, so I'll bite the bullet and edit later. Also wrote another urban fantasy, Double Helix, for NaNo. 50k. It's mostly edited, and I don't foresee any major rewrites, so as soon as I regain interest to edit/finish Vampireland I'll probably take up posting that. Gallium is another I started for NaNo but didn't finish--sometime in the future I'll rework it to be written possibly in the late spring/early summer. Sci-fi. And lastly, I'll be taking up a sequel to Apotropia on a bit of a challenge with Roadie sometime in the spring. Which is mostly for the kicks and giggles, but possibly will be posted one day. 9/10-- Entropy was a big fat failure! Oh well. At least I did finish it and "complete" the 3DN challenge. I'm working on a new story now, pending title, that will be urban fantasy (again) but set in a third-world-esque place. I'm challenging myself to write vampires and do it right. 7/24-- Mod is finished and horrible, but whatever. I plan to write the femslash, officially titled Entropy, for the 3-Day Novel contest from September 5-7. Wish me luck! 6/10-- The soft sci-fi/slice-of-life thing, which I've decided to call Modifications, is up. I'm pretty satisfied with how it came out, all things considered. I'll be updating twice weekly like before, but it shouldn't take long to post all of it. Also, hooray for chapter names. 5/16 -- Inactivity much? Anyway, the previously-mentioned 75k story is complete, and it turned out to be only 50k. The title is still up for debate. It's soft sci-fi/slice-of-life. I'm not sure when it'll be posted--as soon as I rewrite the first 3k is as accurate as I can get. And the other I mentioned last time, the 100k one, is well under way in its planning stage. Genre is femslash/fantasy/sci-fi. And according to my notes, this one might amount to nearly 200k... I'm afraid. o.o 4/11 -- GOOD NEWS AND BADS NEWS: Good news: Apotropia is complete, and I don't have to look at it any more. (Extra good news: They're even leaving me alone to boot. /famous last words) Bad news: I'm in the process of writing something else that might end up around 75k words, and I've got plans for another 100k after that, both of which will likely be posted here at some point in time. 3/31 -- To whom it may concern, I'll be resuming updates Saturday. I had some technical issues, then some medical issues, but now I'm getting things back to normal in the ol' Squidlife. :) 1/16 -- Because I recall using the maps I drew up a great deal around this point, I cleaned them up in case anyone else would like to have a visual reference. Probably not necessary, but they helped me, so... just in case. -.o; Mueeeh, I screwed up, but maybe if I don't point out where, no one will notice. :) OKAY Everything that happens in It's Not a Secret IS A LIE. I wrote that, um, maybe right after chapter 7 or 8, which is MAYBE how things would have happened THEN. But when it does happen later, the circumstances are totally different. Okay. Just saying.
