Author has written 7 stories for Mythology, Humor, and Action. "Aim High in Life, but Watch out for Flying Boxes." SamoaPhoenix and I share a joint account under the penname Storyteller Phoenix. Our joint work, Chronicles of an Evil Overlord, is finished. Unfortunately, we've taken down all of the chapters except the first one as we try and prepare it for publishing. Cross your fingers for us. We just recently started posting the sequel, Chronicles of a Comic Relief. Also on that account is a short story which Comic Relief is based on, written by SamoaPhoenix and a 10 minute screenplay that has nothing to do with Overlord, but we worked on it together. I've been studying Arthurian Legends seriously for several years now. I have read a lot (to many to list!) of retellings, most of them focusing on Mordred, but the collection has been branching out in recent years. Let me know if you'd like any recommendations, since I tend to get my hands on lesser known works. The Heart of Camelot is the first of what will hopefully be a three book series. This one is based upon Mordred's life and various legends that would have occured during that time. The next one will be the Soul of Camelot, and will be about the lives of Mordred's three children and the fall of Camelot. It will be from the perspective of Mordred's second son, Melou but will be about his eldest, Melehan. Last is the Body of Camelot. That one is still on the drawing board, but will probably start off with Aurelius Ambrosious before going into Uther and then Arthur. Cat's Eye Private Investigators is my NANO novel, and the plan is that every NANO story I write will take place in this universe. It's about a former sidekick, the Bengal (as in the cat, not the tiger), who's moved on to try and become a super hero in her own right. The city she's chosen has basically been taken over by a super villian, so she's got her work cut out for her when it comes to changing things. She also ends up with a team of powered and non powered people, because I can't write a story with just one hero. Cat's-Eye PI: Remnant picks up pretty much where the first book left off and introduces four new villians into the mix. Cat's-Eye PI: European League of Heroes was just recently finished. It starts about a month after book two, with the White Serpent's escape from prison and the arrival of Gregory's nemesis, the European serial killer known as the Hastrman. I realize now that The Band Justice Force was written as a work of therapy while I was going through a tough time. I doubt that I'll ever go back to it, and the original purpose of posting it was to share it with some friends who went through the same experience. I've considered taking it down, but decided against because it's a part of me. It doesn't make much sense, but if there are moments where you find yourself laughing, then it was worth it. So, yeah. That's that. | |||||||||||
