Author has written 1 story for Romance. Hi there. I sometimes go by the name Bee, which is an uncommon shortening of my full name, but will also answer to a large assortment of nicknames that have been bequeathed on me usually without my permission or my gratitude. I come from a big family that enjoy publicly humiliating one another. I'm Aussie, and speak it fluently ;) I have been writing since the crayon-days, and use a trial-and-error approach that seems to favour the latter. My stories are cliche; the sky is also blue. For more, consult 'no shit' in your dictionary. A day without coffee is a day that I'm probably unconscious. Some of the things I do like include inside-jokes, nighttime, quirks, my shoes, sarcasm, in-the-moment decisions, late-night conversations that seem a lot more insightful than they really are, sunglasses, smiles just for me, quotes, my various health-kicks, beach weather, comfortable silences, and my neurotic dog. Some of my not-likes are unpainted fingernails, morning-afters of any kind, dog-eared books, bad first impressions, my pen name and that I haven't changed it yet, broken heels, mascara, boredom, laziness, people who are rude for no other reason other than that they are assholes, pigeonholes, and how, despite my best efforts, this always ends up sounding like a personal ad. Cheers :) 7/2: So, holy shit. Undiscovered was nominated for Best Kiss at Round 9 of SKoW! I'm not under the illusion that I'll actually win, but I'm very surprised and very flattered and feel the need to hug someone, so to whoever was lovely enough to nominate me: thank you; your hug is expected in the mail in 6-8 weeks :) Disclaimer: My avatar belongs to whoever created it. It is courtesy of Google Images. Shockingly, I own neither of those things. | |||||||||
