Author has written 6 stories for Life, Love, Religion, and Haiku. Be yourself. Guten Tag! UPDATES: Holy cow it's been a while. I know I haven't posted anything recently but that's b/c I haven't been able to get into the writing mindset. Totally sucks too b/c I have a great number of stories I need to be working on. Ah well, I recently found some of my poems and stuff from back when I was in high school so i figure that I'll go ahead and upload those. To give you guys something to read. General Info: I'm 23 years old. I enjoy listening to music, my two favorite bands would have to be Tokio Hotel and My Chemical Romance. They are my inspiration. Simply FANTASTIC! I love Photography. My dream is to become a Concert Photographer and to travel the world taking photographs of the many different cultures. I really really really want to go to Germany and live there for a while, I'm trying to teach myself German and I think I'm doing well...(While I'm there I hope to see Tokio Hotel perform. I saw them at the Tabernacle in ATL but I want to experience it in German. Bill's English is great, but personally I prefer their music in their native tongue. It sounds more real and it's a beautiful language.) As far as reading goes, I LOVE it! Give me a good book and I'll sit down until I've finished it. Authors like Stephenie Meyer, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Ellen Schreiber, Anne Rice, Cornelia Funke, Victoria Hanley, J.K. Rowling, and Edgar Allan Poe! Fantastic writers. Writing and poetry is another passion of mine. I've written a good many poems that have been published. (I'll be posting those asap) I'm currently in the middle of two fanfics, which are posted on my fanfiction.net account. www.fanfiction.net/~summerjasmine I have been working on an original story, but I haven't gotten all the details worked out for it, yet. I'm hoping to get that going soon so I can post it on here. But we'll see... Hmm...Oh, I'm also into Anime, Manga, Comics. (Marvel is my favorite!) Inuyasha, Shaman King, Fruits Basket, Spirited Away, Howl's moving castle, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Card Captor Sakura, and Full Metal Alchemist are some of the best Anime/Manga's. I'm a HUGE Charmed and Doctor Who fanatic, I also enjoy watching The Big Bang Thoery. I have a younger sister that I call my mini me. (She hates it!) I have some of the greatest friends anyone could ever ask for, without them I am nothing! They mean the world to me! Oh and if you have a myspace or deviantart feel free to add me! For my myspace simply click on the webpage link, it'll take you right to it. For my deviantart go here! Auf Wiedersehen!! Poems: Nobody ever knew: I wrote this poem back in September of 2004 after my my band director told me and a few others that a fellow band members brother (who also happened to be my ex-boyfriend's older brother and a fellow Senior) had passed away, it wasn't until maybe an hour later that we found out he had taken his own life. That is a night that I'll never be able to forget, nor will I forget the haunting dreams and the way that our Senior class came together like a family to support each other during the time of sadness and heartache.(If you're wondering why I placed this under marching band, it's b/c the others and I were the last of the band members leaving the school after a football game. We were all gathered in the parking lot talking when our director came out and told us.) The Wonderer: Poem was written for a literature project. May 15, 2002. Loneliness: Was written for a poetry project for my lit class back March 20, 2002. Thinking of you: This poem was written back in my junoir year of high school, I was 17. Right after I'd broken up with my boyfriend. We only dated for three months. Looking back on it now the relationship was basically just something I felt I needed to experience first hand. B/c usually I was the one always sitting on the sidelines watching my other friends date. They would always come to my for advice with thier relationships. He was my first boyfriend, and only. (I haven't dated anyone since and I'm 22 now.) Good vs. Evil: A few years back my dad had approached me asking that I write a poem that he could take to church. If I remember correctly he wanted to take it to the church's band, 2 West, and see if they could turn it into a song or use it for a song. I don't know what came of that, I haven't heard anything about it. Though I did write it and give it to him as he'd asked. Knowing him he probably just forgot to give it to them and lost it somewhere along the way...shrugs...who knows? | |||||||||||
