I am the Abbot of Beregost. I'm a Canadian, male, nineteen. I will do requests, on occasion.

NEWS: Well, I'm here. I'm uploading a few stories at a time on this end. Read, review, enjoy.

Influences:

1.
William Gibson: My writing idol, I worship on his altar regularly. I
own all his books, and while I have no of his wit and weak metaphors,
there is still something of an influence over my works.Anyone who takes writing seriously should read Burning Chrome and Neuromancer.

2.
William C. Dietz: What can I say, the man creates some of the most
realistic, hardbitten characters I've ever seen. Sorta. I guess.Great scifi war author. Bodyguard is a must for every cyberpunk out there.

3. Chris Bunch: Another scifi master with that gritty feel. Writes war like none other. Last Legion series is some of the best scifi out there.

4.
Poppy Z. Bryte: This author burns her work into your consciousness.
Amazing, amazing style that's influence mine to a surprising degree.
I've only read Lost Souls, and despite the gratuitious violence, sex, and drug use, I still enjoyed it. Utterly disturbing.

5. Mel Odom: Great action scenes, positively cinematic.One of the best writers of Shadowrun out there.

Dragonlance: I've gone through more of this series than I care to
admit. I spent from about twelve to sixteen sucking down every DL novel
I could get my hands on.

7. Nick Sagan: Idlewild totally changed the way I write first person. Buy it.
