Author has written 6 stories for General, Fantasy, and Humor.

I am a Junior at LSU-Shreveport where I am majoring in Criminal Justice and French. My first love is the stage--I live to perform. The LSUS Black Box Theatre is my home and my sanctuary; I cannot describe the feeling of joy and vivacity that I experience when I feel the spotlight warm my face. It is truly my passion.

My second love (or more of an off-again, on-again affair) is my love of the written word and its effect on people. I love the power words have to surprise and enchant, to reveal and challenge, to create and destroy. I also write for the stage--two of my works are scheduled to be produced in the 2009-2010 season. I will whole-heartedly admit to being influenced by Jewel Kilcher's book of poetry "A Night Without Armor". I love the works of Victor Hugo, Laclos, Gregory Maguire, Thomas Harris and William Shakespeare.

I sing in the shower, I dance in the rain, I name my cats after old-school celebrities: Clark Gable, Lauren Bacall, and Brongae, which is not a celebrity but a character from Tristan + Isolde. I play softball, volleyball, and the piano. I sing, dance, enjoy horseback riding, canoeing, seeing foreign films and holding long debates about politics, religion and the cosmos in general. I am a member of the Cadet Corps and a former Student Ambassador to Europe (France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy). I also a a former junior delegate for the RNC in NYC for the great state of Louisiana.

I also write fanfiction on FictionPress.com's sister-site, FanFiction.com. http://www.fanfiction.net/~themarvelousmadmadammim

Oh, NO I am not a Cajun. Just because I am a native of Louisiana does not mean that I am of Acadian descent. In fact, there is not amount of French lineage in my blood. I am however a proud mix of Irish, Seminole, Cherokee, English, and German.
