U P D A T E S

INSTRUMENTAL:

It's a CD and a novel in one! Each chapter is a track on the CD mentioned in the prologue/capĂtulo negativo, so you get to listen along as you read. I'll try to get a real playlist together and post it on the blog, but it's kind of hard to find some of the more obscure songs, so please forgive me.

Basically what we've got here is my worldview--not necessarily my prediction for the future, mind you, but a future world in which America has fallen in the wake of a renewable revolution in which they were not willing to participate until it was too late. Brookfield, Pennsylvania is a very different place, a crumbling mini-city of commuters and people down on their luck, but a place with tightly knit community (I'd like a grocer like Dafonte). Mac is one of the main characters and roughly 1/2 of the narration, so if you don't like him, please voice your complaints now. I don't want to write too much of him and find out he's intolerable.

Any questions/comments about this are more than welcome. I'm not so good at this whole giant project writing thing, so any and all help is appreciated. Even if you can just give your reactions, that's cool too. I love to know what people think, since this story has been brewing in my head since...2 years ago? Yeah, I think that's it.

anyways, enjoy.

Sadie: 17, self deprecating and out of love. Jake: nearly 30 and awash in uncertainty about his future, his purpose and his heart. These kind of feelings never really pan out, do they? A rollicking good time,T, no sex. content
