I may be a fanfiction writer, but I'm also an original one. I can only write fiction well, and I have loads of ideas. I do occasionally dart around from one to the next and I am prone to Mary-Sueism, but I can tell when I do and edit that. I, unfortunately, have the tendency to get ideas from other books. Although, it normally is very different and if it's too similar I lable it as fanfiction and stash it in a pile for www.fanfiction.com.
