Status: Listening to Mayday's "Childhood" and painting the parameters for my project nouvelle - "Mango Cafe" - inspired by Kat, Marge, and, of course, Jon (luv ya!)

Bienvenue. This is CC speaking. As celebration for the uploading of my first (non)story, I am finally going to fill up this profile page with my random ravings. More later when the mood seizes me, but for ce moment:

It's been sixteen years as of April and my tryst with Life is moving along nicely bar the stresses of school and such and such. The view outside my window is quite loverly with the oak tree and blue sky and all; the view inside, not so much, but, eh, we all have our trials in existence. I have recently discovered a new asset to my amusement - tarot cards - so look for those spiffy fortune tellers as a theme in future stories. Otherwise, I love love love my origami inspired earrings, my laptop, my stuffed bunny+dalmation, my younger sis, and, of course, my stories (fictionpress is an obvious). Let's not forget Jess, the twin I discovered chez JSA.

"Mango Cafe" inspired by Kat, Marge, Jon, and their wacky yet realistic dreams. More later in the form of character sketches and other such drabbles.

"How to Plan a Perfect Wedding" (tentative titling) inspired by Yes, I'll admit it, bridal magazines. Elegant Bride to be specific. After observing the endless list of steps to planning a wedding, I decided to create a drabble on the stresses of wedding plans on a bride. From the groom's point of view too, if I'm in the right mind setting after I finish with the bride.

"Saint Theresa" inspired by Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series (in major), Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and Thomas Hardy's Tess d'Urbervilles (both in minor). Tess wants fun. Angel wants Tess. And Jordan just wants to get some. The story of an ordinary highschool love triangle. And, oh yea, there's a clan of vampires with a bone to pick. Someone pass that pitcher of blood, please. Prologue uploaded.
