NOTE: NO MORE POSTS!! Sorry, though I am not closing my account, I am deleting any stories posted on here. My friend hooked me up with links to a publishing company, and I hope to get my work published. In order to do this, my friend suggested I get rid of anything I have on here. Thanks to everyone for your support!! If there is anything on here you liked and wanted to see what happens, please contact me and I'll make it my duty to tell you when the book is published :) Thanks everyone!! Hello! Konnichiwa! Let me count the ways. --Elizabeth Barrett Browining, 1806-1861 "How do I love Thee? Let me count the ways. . ."; poem (This has to be my altime favourite poem. It's just so full of passion and emotions that I can't even explain. I actually cried the first time I ever read this poem!) -Quotes- "Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But, many of us have choosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future then what sort of future is it and what will we have become? There is no furture for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped in blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"--Lacus Clyne, Gundam SEED. "The weak can never forgive. Forgivness is the attribute of the strong."--Mahatama Gandhi The only weapon we have against reality is our imagination." --Unknown "Fly and you will catch the wind. Dream and you will reach your goal." --Unknown "Be the change you want to see." --Mahatama Gandhi "Normal isn't something to aspire to, it's something to get away from!" --Jodie Foster "Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We KEEP MOVING FORWARD, opening up new doors and doing new things because we're curious...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." --Walt Disney -Story Ideas- Hell in Halifax December 6th 1917; No one knew what or who it was. Possibilities ran through everyones minds; it was a bomb. Yes, a bomb. The Germans dropped it. It was a matter of time before we were targetted. What no one realized, though, was that the ship collision was the true cause of it all, the ship collision in the Halifax Narrows. This is the story of one girl and her struggle through the Halifax Explosion, the largest man made explosion before Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Sorrow on the Ocean No one could imagine what would happen as they boarded the maginificent ship, the grandest of them all. They all thought it was the trip of a lifetime, to be riding on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. Little did they know. . .how wrong they were. How very wrong indeed. Set in April 1912, this story tells about the struggles and pains of one girl just wanting to be excepted during this tragic time in history. Looking Forward When eighteen year old Emma Chester is diagnost with Acute Leukimia, she's stricken with what all in her situation feel; worry and hurt. Her life begins falling apart as she's admitted into the hospital, and can't help but wonder if she will ever be normal again. But always expect the unexpected, because you never know what may happen in the most unlikely places. . . Glass Rose Breanne moved into her house when she was six, with her mother, sister, two stepbrothers and stepfather. It was a beautiful house, and Breanne even had her own room. What she wasn't prepared for was the visitor that came along with it — a ghost. And she's the only one who can see him. When she was nine, she made a promise to him; to help him cross over to the other side. But now that she's older, she doesn't know if she wants to help him anymore. I want him to stay with me . . . forever. Marked Blood Kataleen's parents were murdered when she was merely an infant, though the case was never solved. Unknown to her is a world seperated from her own, run by the 'Dark Walkers'. Little does she know that they're responsible for her parents death since they knew the secret of these Dark Walkers. And little does she know that deep down, she too knows this secret. Now her blood is marked, and all of the Walkers knows what she knows. Can one Dark Walker alone stop her from the penalty — death? -Spoilers- Hell in Halifax: Chapter One I took a seat between Jarvis and Alice, and took a spoonful of my oatmeal. Then turned my attention back to my aunt, and saw that the glint in her eyes was now a flame. I swallowed, "What’s wrong, auntie?" "Oh, me?" She asked innocently. I heard my mother giggle at her oh-too-angelic tone. "I was just thinking about tomorrow, that’s all." I smiled, feeling myself go slightly pink. Tomorrow was December sixth; my birthday. I would be turning sixteen. "Yes, what about it?" | |||||||
