As a writer myself, I understand how important constructive criticism is, and I try to give it as much as possible, as nicely and tactfully as possible. I will dispense advice if you ask for it, but won't be offended if you decide not to take it. Different strokes for different folks. Basically, I am just here to help if you want it. :)

I've had to write essays for school since grade school, which doesn't necessarily make me a brilliant writer, I know, but I have had a lot of experience with writing and composition, especially in high school and I've had college level writing courses, so I feel pretty safe in my knowledge of grammar and writing techniques.

I'll be honest, when it comes to my own writing, I can't proofread very well---on the first go, but the more I re-read something, the more I'll pick up on. I just usually have someone handy when I'm writing something for a class just so that they can point out something that I've missed. All it really takes is another pair of eyes to help get you on the right path. :)

I'll be honest: I'm a cutsie kind of girl, and I like the cutsie, romantic kind of stories. But I like subtle cutsie----"Snookums" and "Pookie" are not words I generally like to see, unless they're being used in a satirical manner. ;) But I am generally open to most things---I don't have much knowledge on sci-fi subjects, however.

Dark, depressing, "emo" stories with no uplifting messages. Also, graphic stories are kind of pushing it with me as well.
